What are all your favorite musicals that you've seen? List them all, and if possible, try to do it in order of how much you like them. They can be movie musicals, stage musicals, or both like POTO. Don't be scared to include ones from when you were little that you still enjoy.

Mine are:

Jesus Christ Superstar
The Phantom of the Opera
Moulin Rouge
Chitty Chitty Bang Bang
Lagaan
The Hunchback of Notre Dame
Pocahontas
Labyrinth
The Sound of Music
Willy Wonka
Annie (not the newer one that Disney messed up)
Wizard of Oz
Oliver!
The Kind and I
Gigi
Mary Poppins
Grease
Kiss Me Kate
State Fair
Oklahoma!

(I'll probably have more to add soon. I've been going crazy adding musicals I've never seen to my rent list on Netflix.)

(Wow, Dennis DeYoung was in a Hunchback of Notre Dame musical? That'd be cool to hear...)

He wrote the music for the musical, and, in the soundtrack, performs as both Quasimodo and Frollo. I love the music.
Click here to listen to the songs. With Rhapsody you have 25 free listens to the entire song. I suggest Ave Maria, Confrontation, With Every Heart Beat & the reprise, Beneath the Moon, and By the Grace of God.
Click here for a musical synopsis and lyric list.

And I forgot to add Clue to my list.

I've never actually seen the MFL movie, but I've seen it done by amateurs at least once and I have a London recording of it.

I forgot Sound of Music too, but I can't decide where it would fit.

Also, how could you forget Les Mis?! Rolling Eyes Wink

Sorry, when I said 'recording' I meant an official CD of a London cast a few years ago. I once saw somebody get corrected on a forum for using 'soundtrack' instead of 'cast recording' Rolling Eyes so I'm very careful now.
I hardly have any bootlegs I'm afraid!

That happened to me once.
-Cast Recording: A stage-show recording of the singing
-Soundtrack: A film recording

I hate technical people. Laughing

They were quite rude as well to the person who made the 'mistake'. Theres no need for it, even if it is online. Rolling Eyes

I'd forgotten Wizard of Oz and Beauty and the Beast too. (I've only seen the cartoon of BATB but I'm seeing the UK Tour on thursday Very Happy ). I love Alice in Wonderland too, if that counts as a musical.....I might need to re-do my list!

I'd quite like to see Mamma Mia. It looks interesting and the music is, of course, fantastic.

I have a vampire obsession so I'd have loved Lestat if I'd have got to see it!

It starred Hugh Panaro didn't it? I wish it would come to London, with Hugh. I'm sure he makes a perfect vampire! I really wish i could have seen it though.
