Christine TOM Well, to tell a little about me, my name is Kathryn and I am 18 years old. I am currently in college as a pre-nursing student and will soon be in nursing school to become a registered nurse. I love to draw, paint, create anything artistic just for the fun of it. I love Phantom of the Opera and first discovered it when it came to Blumenthal Performing Arts Center. I never got to go to the show but it has been my dream to see it eventually.

This past summer I got the opportunity to go to Paris, France after saving up for two years and paying the trip off in order to go. Just seeing the Opera House and going inside of it was a dream come true. If any of you get the chance to go, don't miss it! I love the Phantom of the Opera and own three copies of Gaston Leroux's original, two in english and one in french, a copy of Susan Kay's "Phantom", "The Return of the Phantom" ((all of you should read this, it's an awesome sequal)), the movie book, a book on the Opera House itself, and many more Phantom related things.

I am happy to become a new member of this forum and hope to be very active in it!!!

I loved it and wished I could have spent more time in Paris. I spent a week there and I still didn't get to see it all. We only got to spend three and a half hours in the Lourve and in that time we had to get something to eat. So much to see.......so little time that we did it in.

I hope you remain active, too Smile
A few users, I wont mention names, but..haha, they haven't been on in AGES. It's a rather small community here though, to begin with.
And I have never gotten a chance to see the Opera House, though I would LOVE to! I do have some....copies of the show, if you wish...I could send you a few Smile
And I agree, I LOVE Kay's novel...I just finished rerererereading it, hahah. I can't get enough of it!
