Everything I'm about to tell you is 100% true and serious.

I don't know if anyone else here is a loser like me and bothers to watch American Idol....

Honestly, I don't usually follow it, but this year there is one contestant that I hope and pray will win.

Adam fer-eaking Lambert.
When I hear him sing, I get choked up. A couple of time, I may have.... cried.... just a little...

I make it well known that my favorite singer is Ted Neeley, best known for playing Jesus in Jesus Christ Superstar, with his awesome rocker scream, but now, Adam is pushing Neeley over to tie with him for first place in my heart. If you compare the voices of the two, you'll probably see what aspect it is that I like.

But anyway, if your ears have not yet been graced by Lambert's voice, I highly recommend these videos:

His Middle-Eastern twist on Johnny Cash's "Ring of Fire" (and my overall favorite)-

.
His seductive rendition of the Rolling Stone's "Satisfaction"-

.
And his oddly down-to-Earth but still amazing performance of Smokey Robinson's "Tracks of My Tears"-

.
.
.
But I also like Allison Iraheta! Laughing

we used to watch American Idol, but it got kind of boring. the last season we watched was when Rubin won! I thought it was funny, because Clay got all the attention!

It did get boring. Although I watched a little last year to see that David Cook won over the Archuleta pansy-boy. And he did. ^_^ But this year has been far more interesting, thanks to Adam Lambert and Allison Iraheta. AND - Simon drew a mustache on Paula. It was a cheap laugh, but a laugh it was.

I like Simom. I wonder if he's ever happy.
